This is the most exciting thing to happen in Hollywood in the last year (since celebrities decided they would go to rehab and not entertain me with their drunken antics). A remake of The Neverending Story is likely in the works. I loved this movie as a child, I used to dream that I was the empress and that one day I would ride a white dragon and there would be rock men who would make jokes about limestone.
Unfortunately, I watched it recently and was very underwhelmed, probably because of the awesomeness of CGI and movies like The Matrix and Lord of the Rings. Luckily, this movie (well, it’s remake) has the opportunity to redeem itself, and re-achieve the childhood glory I have associated with it.

Ch-ch-check it out here.
Bring on the white dragons!
How do you pick your books? Do you read the back? Read reviews? Buy on a friend’s recommendation? Well if that’s how you do it, your a chump. Books, much like friends should be chosen based on how cool they make you look when your around them (or holding them-if it’s a book). Abebooks.com agrees with me, check out their list of 30 Novels Worth Buying for the Cover Alone, and then (since 30 books isn’t really enough) check out my very own list of 5 super awesome books I bought (and didn’t regret it after reading them) based on the cover design alone. (Which really is just a list of five books I really liked since I buy all my books based on the cover alone.)

I don’t think I need to address how awesome I think this film is going to be. But I will with one sentence: Quentin Tarantino, WWII, Nazis, that is all.
